  12. CaseLinr is a Windows 3.1 ONLY program which prints case liners (a.k.a.
  13. J-Cards) for audio cassettes -- including DAT.  The image displayed on the
  14. CRT screen approximates what will actually be printed.  The printed result
  15. is extremely accurate and can be cut, folded, and then inserted into an empty
  16. (preferably clear plastic) audio cassette box.

  18. To install CaseLinr, copy the three files CASELINR.EXE, CASELINR.HLP, and
  19. DEFAULT.FMT to any directory and then use the New Program Item in the Files
  20. menu of the Program Manager to install CaseLinr within any group.  If you do
  21. not copy these files to your "Windows" directory (I don't), then the first
  22. time you start CaseLinr, it will ask you for the location of DEFAULT.FMT.

  27. CaseLinr is Shareware. It is NOT FREE SOFTWARE, but it is also NOT
  28. Crippleware.  It is fully functional and does not contain any randomly
  29. appearing oversized dialog boxes with insulting messages, charge card
  30. graphics, or floating buttons.  If you like CaseLinr and find it useful,
  31. you are requested to support it by registering (i.e. sending me money).
  32. If you have registered a previous version, you don't have to re-register this
  33. version.  However, if you feel a burning desire to send me more money, I will
  34. not refuse it!  Please do not request the latest version of the program since
  35. I am not sure when, and if, the next version will come out -- this one took
  36. almost 1 year!  All suggestions, comments, criticisms, and modification
  37. requests are welcome -- those coming from registered users will have priority.

  60.       Ctrl-Enter key combination must now be used, instead of the Enter key,

  63.       extensions (*.CAS) are now properly displayed in the Open... dialog
  64.       box.  OK in the global layout box only causes scrolling up or down if

  68.       specified in Control Panel prior to printing.  Shrunk size of about

  81. 3.1 - Reversed action of Enter and Ctrl+Enter during entry of multiple lines
  82.       in Titles and Songs -- Enter goes to next line, Ctrl+Enter depresses
  83.       the default button.  Fixed a problem with very long song titles.

  85. 3.2 - Fixed UAE introduced in 3.1 and fixed saving global layout which worked
  86.       in 3.0.  Both problems were a result of moving, incorrectly, all text
  87.       strings to the resource file.

  90.       user specifically requested it.  Sorted Files and Sizes list boxes.
  91.       Fixed problem where a 4 point font would cause 48 to be highlighted

  94. 3.4 - Changed Current Date button in side layout to Short Date.  Added Long

  152.       Sides... so that the font of Side Letter Text can be changed.  Added
  153.       the Apply Font button wherever that Font... button appears.  Added
  154.       Tab Stops and Default Units to the Format / Liner dialog box.  Allowed
  155.       entry of Tab characters in titles and songs.

  157. 4.3 - Fixed enabling/disabling the Add and Remove buttons in Format Sides
  158.       after a different Feature is selected from the combo box.  Fixed a
  159.       problem where measurements with "too many" decimal places were going
  160.       negative.  Modified title and song entry so that a Tab character
  161.       appears as "2 angle brackets (greater than signs) pointing to the
  162.       right".  Renamed the "Per Side" feature type to "Centered with sides"
  163.       and added 2 feature types "Adjacent with sides" and "Blank with sides".
